Whoopi Goldberg breaks silence over claims she dated Jeffrey Epstein

Whoopi Goldberg Responds to Jeffrey Epstein Document Mentions

Whoopi Goldberg addressed online speculation after her name appeared in newly released U.S. Justice Department documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaking on The View, she denied any personal or professional relationship with Epstein, explaining her name appeared only in a logistical email about travel arrangements for a Monaco charity event linked to Julian Lennon’s foundation.

Goldberg said event organizers—not her—contacted various private jet owners after her original flight fell through. She emphasized that she never boarded Epstein’s aircraft, had no dealings with him, and did not request his involvement. Reports indicate Epstein ultimately declined.

Co-host Joy Behar noted that many public figures are referenced in large document releases without implying wrongdoing. Legal experts have similarly cautioned that mentions in contact lists or emails do not equal misconduct.

Goldberg urged the public to avoid turning incomplete information into accusations, stressing that conclusions should be based on verified evidence, not speculation.
